Very excited to announce that one of my articles has been published in the Medicinal Roots Magazine. Would like to Thank you, Medicinal Roots Magazine, very much for picking this article for the magazine :) You have made my day!
http://www.medicinalrootsmagazine.com/current-issue.html This additional certificate helps me to treat a variety of disorders using a Chinese style massage called Tui Na.
Tui Na can be helpful to treat carpal tunnel, tendonitis, tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, neck strain, cervical disorders, headache, insomnia, anxiety, depression, IBS, bloating, indigestion, PMS, knee disorders, ankle sprains, upper back pain, and lower back pain. Tui Na can also be used as part of your cosmetic routine to bring better circulation to the head and face. * Big News * I’m participating in a co-author project with some amazing women! This book will focus on wellness, transformation, and inspiring women :)
Very excited to start my new journey as a wellness writer :) Expect a book release in 2018! Had the pleasure of travelling to Taiwan for a 2 week Acupuncture internship in the Taipei Tzu Chi Buddhist Hospital. While in Taipei I attended lectures on Acupuncture, Pulse diagnosis, Gynecology, and scalp Acupuncture. I visited the Longshan temple, Shilin night market, the Cixian temple, the Chiang Kai Chek memorial, Di Hua street, the Presidential palace, the Yinggue pottery museum, the Beitou hot springs, the National palace museum, and the magnificent Taroko Gorge in Hua Lien. Extremely grateful for all of the hard work and effort provided by the doctors, residents, interns, and tutors at the hospital who made my visit so amazing. Attended lectures by Dr. Chen, head of the TCM department. Attended a lecture by Dr. Huang on how to treat Tendonitis with Tui Na. Attended a lecture by Dr. Lee, on scalp Acupuncture (YNSA). Observed bleeding techniques to release stiffness, swelling, and heat. Attended a lecture by Dr. Hsu, on the theory of Acupuncture. And participated in the treatment of 140 patients in a 2 week time period.
Leaving for 2 weeks to study in the Taipei Tzu Chi Hospital in Taiwan. Very excited to build more knowledge and gain experience while in Taiwan, so that I can be the best Acupuncturist that I can be :)
Today is the last day of school. I would like to thank all of my friends, family, and mentors who have helped me get this far. Now all that is left to do is study for my board exams coming up this fall.
